We had been to the location in Texas and were hoping this one was just as good, we were not dissapointed. Since our spouse and my last visit, they have built a covered seating area, and I do like the comfort of the chairs. The two pieces of fish were about right in size for each of us; but the breading was somewhat thick and the fish OK. The fries were hot and plentiful, and could have been crisper.

The onion rings were very good with a good selection of sauces. At some point will try again, but not soon. This food establishment opened about one year ago. We watched cars parked all around it all summer long and took that as a good sign but opted to not stop because at that time there was no inside dining. Over the winter they added an eat-in area and we finally decided it was time to try the food.
We had heard good things so were prepared for good things. Once ordered, we were disappointed, partially with the price because even with a substantial coupon dollar amount, it was still more than we were used to paying for a lunch out for two. When the food arrived it was all downhill. The battered fish was tasteless and the batter, not your normal type batter, was grease filled.
My husband had grease visibly dripping down his fingers after picking up and biting into one of the pieces of fish. The fries were not as greasy but also tasteless. We left half of the meal and walked out.
Very disappointing, very sad because any small town can always use another very good eating establishment. Been getting their discount coupons in the monthly mailer and was planning on visiting. Happen to be in Stanwood, without the coupon and decided to try them out anyway.
Prices seemed a little high for the fish and chips, which is why we were there. Ordered the 2 piece cod with fries.
When the food was ready the 2 pieces were fairly good size, but would have been probably better tasting if they were not so thick. They might have cooked a little better if they were thinner and flater. Good portion of fries that were quite large.
Couldn't decide whether they were made onsite or purchased. The tarter sauce that came with it was a little tangy.
Not my liking but ok. All in all, it was ok, but the homemade fish in Everett at Ray's is far superior. The 3 piece fish at Iver''s taste better and the tarter is far better. All in all, just average. Three of us visited.
