Playing next Personally, I felt like the speed was perfect, and I am a slow eater.
The food was excellent. My fish was cooked perfectly. We live in Florida and many "seafood" restaurants consistently overcook fish. The flavors were unique and original. It was not the typical "blackened, grilled, or fried" with the occasional salsa or chutney on top. My wife had steak and lobster. The lobster was perfectly as well. The steak was good, but not something memorable. The chocolate lava cake is killer and shouldn't be missed. The only legitimate criticism I could see is on portion size. My wife and I thought it was just right.

However, if you expect the oversized portions that many restaurants serve, you will likely be disappointed. So, we were pleased to know we were not crazy and that Roy's is a great restaurant.
We will continue to visit them on special occasions. A very nice change from the the whole theme park scene. I think of this place as a more business casual than casual place, but I did see some guests in what I would call "theme park attire". This is my second time here and I was not disappointed. Delicious lobster potstickers and even more delicious lobster roll sushi for starters. Then we had the filet and the shellfish combo for entrees, both of which were outstanding. For dessert, we both had the chocolate souffle and it was worth it.
We had called ahead for a reservation even though it was a weeknight and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was excellent, the food was well-paced and we had an extremely pleasant evening. Highly recommended because it was so delicious!!!! Recently had dinner at Roy's and we were so excited but quickly disappointed. The food choices on the menu was not what we expected and it was served we found the portions extremely small for the price. We will not return as there are too many other wonderful restaurants to dine at with more reasonable charges.
I have to add that we tried to get in here once before. It was about on a weekday and the entire restaurant was empty. The hostess had the nerve to ask us if we had a reservtion. We looked around amazed, especially because we no one was there and we couldn't comprehend that large of a restaurant filling up within an hour.
Oh well, maybe that was a blessing in disguise I am a huge seafood lover and Roy's has everything I need in an evening of dining. Great wine selection and by the bottle. I usually start with the Hawaiian martini vodka, vanilla vodka and coconut rum marinated with pineapples for 3 days. I encourage tuna lovers to try theirs. They have 3 to choose from, the poke salad is my favorite. I can never just choose one fish entree so I always have 2 in half portions or the shellfish combo.
The service staff will let the table know about their hot desserts early in the diner.
The chocolate souffle is out of this word. My family visited Roys while on vacation the first week of May in Orlando.
Despite not having many non seafood choices on the menu I selected the Braised Short Ribs at the recommendation of the server. Sunday, May 1 Mariners Boston, a.
