I did request an early check in 11 - I did request an early check in 11 - 12 am as we traveled down from the Country, a 4 hour drive. But the Receptionist Mie, said there had been some naughty guest, whom had only booked out at 12 am!!! She did not phone, and when I inquired at 3. My family and I all 8 of us really enjoyed our stay at QT Perth. The rooms were all beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Bonus points for all the beautiful interiors used in the hotel. Their attention to detail is just wonderful. Too bad we never got to try the rooftop bar but hey, the coffee at the ground floor is really good.
Will not hesitate Will not hesitate to re- book at QT Perth and will definitely suggest this hotel to all our friends. The Westin Perth is amazing! The room is spacious and the location is superb. With in a few mins work you are in the city center. For those with car they also have Valet parking service. The Italian restaurant cooked up some amazing dishes and they also serve great breakfast.
Also treat yourself to a Spa, but be sure to book well in advance. All in all, an amazing All in all, an amazing stay. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly and very accommodating. It would be good if the hotel has their own car park instead of having to park the car at a nearby car park. Nevertheless, I would still stay in this hotel again when I return to Perth!
Excellent experience we had. Location was perfect, has supermarket just cross the road as well as small restaurants at neiboubhood. We recommend this property. Really nice new super clean hotel with all amenities you need and in a good location, bed was comfy and would stay again. Located just in the center of Fremantle old town. Less than 10 min. Room is spacious and nicely decorated. We received code from the property in advance, so the check in and check out were smooth and easy.
There were eggs, milk, bacon, bread and butter in the refrigerator for the fist morning was good. The bed was too soft for The bed was too soft for us. Sound proof of the building was not good, we could hear the guest on 2nd floor walking all the time. But these are not big issues. Will consider to stay again next time when visit Fremantle.
Very pleasant. Our last 4 nights of 5 years working in Perth. Good underground parking. On route of free frequent CAT Central area transit buses. Very obliging staff made our stay and departure hassle free.
In fact, we have already booked it for our son and daughter in law who with two youngsters deserve a well earned treat. It is ideal for couples wanting to relax and unwind, yet has lots to do on its doorstep including the Swan Valley winerie It is ideal for couples wanting to relax and unwind, yet has lots to do on its doorstep including the Swan Valley wineries. The accommodation itself has loads to offer. The decor is lovely and the bathroom has a great shower and huge bath. Bath salts are provided and a heavenly body lotion amongst other toiletries, lovely for an indulgent soak with candles.
The bed, sofas and throws are really comfy, we especially loved the sofa on the verandah, a lovely place to share a bottle of wine whilst taking in the view to the lake and local wildlife. This Swan Valley Retreat is somewhere I would love to come back to and would definately recommend. Next time it would be great to try out some of the treatments on offer.
Excellent, nothing to complain about. Staff very attentive. Room clean and spacious. Food 5 star. Even allowed us to book into our room 30m early. Our general experience was excellent. Accommodation was easy to find from the airport. Ruth is a fantastic host with great advice when asked. Rooms are nice and airy and give you a cosy feel to it. Bed was very comfortable and sleeping was not an issue.
Breakfast was fantastic and there was plenty of choice to be had. Internet was also quick and easily accessed. In gen In general well recommended and if we travel again to perth we will certainly use this accommodation again. I am so glad that we came across rainbow dream house. The house is spacious and perfect for family, with complete amenities. Facilities like supermarket, halal butchery, asian market are all nearby only few minutes away at vale shopping centre.
My mother in particular was so happy with her stay there and requested us to book this accommodation again if we were to My mother in particular was so happy with her stay there and requested us to book this accommodation again if we were to visit Perth again. Ambrose the owner was very accommodating and helpful before our arrival and throughout our stay. His splendid service was the first reason why all of us were satisfied and would plan to repeat our stay there.
We booked this home to attend a family matter in Perth. The home was huge, beautiful and immense value for money. Joyce was such a joy to liaise with and prepared us a welcome gift, assisted in extending our check out and was very very helpful. Home is in a quite area but still feel very safe. Amenities are great and the house itself was large enough to accommodate Amenities are great and the house itself was large enough to accommodate 10 people. Very VERY highly recommended and will definitely come back here for our yearly trips to visit family.
Stayed for a few days, needed close proximity to city and this was the perfect spot. Bus stop just a short walk away 30 or on Canning Hwy. The apartment is comfortable, clean and appointed with everything you will need. Very comfortable bed. Really nice touch to be warmly greeted and have a few complimentary treats on arrival. Thank you Marg. We found the Karale We found the Karalee Tavern, a short walk away and very impressed with the menu and wonderful service We'll be back.
Perth was lovely. We found the city to be extremely clean, not overly-populated and very easy to get around. The attractions are scattered at north, south and Perth CBD so you really need to rent a car. The shops are mostly close at 5pm and open during weekends only like Fremantle market and E-shed so plan your itinerary wisely. The people is nice and helpful. Within the city centre there are a few attractions to visit for e.
Absolutely love the free bus rides along the 4 different routes within the city.

Not really necessary to take the sightseeing explorer bus. Fremantle is a must-do when at Perth to get a glimpse of the port city. Good for seafood and a visit to Fremantle prison is great. It is a vibrant city with various activities for different type of travel interests, but if you like outdoor and sightseeing, this is definitely the city to visit.
Without transport, many nice places can't go. Out of city many attraction places to scenery or sight seeing. My family enjoys the trip here. Visiting Swan Valley will be difficult to access using public bus. Advisable to rent a car. Very laid-back city, though I would recommend exploring more places outside CBD. The western part are all beautiful beaches ideal for summer.
Much more convenient if you drive but otherwise there are plenty of buses around. Buses 98 and 99 go in circular direction and will take you around many more places in Perth. Yes for it's sentimental city centre Caversham Wildlife Park. Perth is relatively small, but it's good to spend days there. It's also worth visiting the surrounding town called Framentle. Parking is very expensive considering if you have to visit places of interest in the city like at bell tower and the botanical gardens.
If they are short of anything over there, its workers to keep it all going. So these days, prices in Perth are more in line with the rest of Australia.
The city itself is located on the banks of the Swan River, which is quite wide in places. Shopping in City and suburban malls, esp the supermarkets are great. A visit to swan valley is great to get margaret river chocs and honey and nougats and nuts. There's different breeds of livestock, like sheep, poultry, cats, dogs, pigs, emu, llamas, birds, cattle, you could touch, feel and see up close. There's a variety of food produce and natural products. Its child-friendly with wood chopping competitions and equestrian events in the sprightly spring air. There's enough to eat, ride thrilling rides, ponder on history, farm equipment, and handcrafts.
A representation of what the state is about.
It is a nice city with quite a number of things to visit and eat. I would recommend checking out some restaurants by searching on their rating online. The reviews are usually quite accurate. The food can be quite expensive about USD30 a meal. The serving is usually quite generous and it is really nice!
Enjoy good seafood and beef. My wife and I went there for 13 days free and easy and enjoyed the Nature and sightseeing of the wildlife. There are many activities you can do in the morning and afternoon, but when come to night, it was definitely a boring period to endure for us whom came from Singapore. Be adventurous and just explore!!!! New waterfront development will be excellent when completed in Nov. Kings Park worth a visit for gardens, picnics, walks and views across Perth. Nice areas and beaches to Nth and Sth if you have a car to explore. Cold in Winter, warming up now - end of Sept.
Visit to Fremantle in the suburb is something refreshing. They have nice harbour view, old historical buildings and most of all is their famous fish and chips. Perth has a laid back feel to it and I always feel relaxed when I get to visit. The beaches and Kings Park are beautiful, the shopping doesnt appear to be a lot different to many other cities and the international sports that are played here are great.
Perth is a peaceful, quiet city, no happening nightlife, not many fancy restaurant but if you're just up for relaxation this is the city you might want to visit. Perth has all the hallmarks of a tourist destination as well as a homely ambience for relaxation. Recommend choosing your hotel wisely and not just on price and location but make sure to review credible comments, don't just look at the first few as I did and end up with a very bad experience, research reputation more thoroughly as there is a capacity for very rude and aggressive service.
Crown Metropole Hotel. Their per game bet is small and you can easily spend an hour there, gambling responsibily. Perth isnt a large city by any means but is a very pretty city, with Kings Park and the Swan river right on the door step. It was tough for a vegetarian in term of food choices. Moving around in taxi is expensive. Might as well rent a car if staying for a few days. Parking for caravan in the city area is not recommended.
Something to note for those who are renting motorhomes to tour the surrounding region. Most shops close at 5pm, so start your day early. Perth is not a very busy City and not much thing to do compare in Melbourne and Sydney but it has a great potential to be a great city in the future.
This is a really nice city. Clean and easy to get around. Downtown the buses are actually free! They call it the FTZ free transit zone. Perth is a very beautiful city. I have traveled most of the world's great cities and I would put Perth at the top of the list. Take in King's Park, bus tours of both Perth and nearby Freemantle. Take a cruise in the bay and a trip to Rottnest. It's all top notch.
Clean tidy city. Very helpful Cat drivers and hosts. Also the Perth subway was great as we were trying to work out the directions of platforms a female staff member assisted us even before we we know we needed help.
